English and American Literature

Students can pursue degrees in a number of areas including English Literature, American Literature, English Language Teaching, Linguistics, Communication Theory, and Cultural Studies. While acquiring expertise in their areas, students endeavor to seek ways to apply their knowledge. Students are encouraged to present their research projects at conferences in Japan and abroad. For those students with Teacher Certification, the Advanced Teacher Certification can be obtained.
